The US government said Tuesday that it will be up to Massachusetts and other states to decide whether to grant resident tuition and driver’s licenses to thousands of young illegal immigrants who start applying Wednesday for federal work permits and two-year reprieves from deportation.
Governor Deval Patrick’s administration said last week that it was waiting for guidance from the Department of Homeland Security to carry out President Obama’s unexpected decision in June to halt the deportations of illegal immigrants age 30 and under.

This is proof positive that we need change. How dare Obama give our country away! Deval Patric is a wimp! So he's waiting for DHS to direct him on this unconstitutional decision made by Obama. Pray that Mitt Romney wins this election, and reverses this stupid idea of giving in state tuition, and driving licenses to these illegals. Haven't we proof positive in this state? Obama's illegal relatives have been here for years, and have received special treatment. His uncle Obama arrested for drunk driving, and then gets his license back. Still living her. His auntie living in public housing for years, and still does, which should have gone to someone on a long waiting list of American citizens. I, for one want to know how Obama pulled this one off. Don't ever say he didn't know! He is PANDERING out of desperation, knowing he has fierce competition. Work permits for these illegals is a slap in the face for any American searching for work, and there are too many of them. Vote out this constitutional disrespecting president!

My card, issued an ion ago, says on the face of it, that it should NOT be used for identification. sraad. if illegal immigrants are taking jobs away from Americans why aren`t those same Americans swooping up those jobs? Those that hire illegal immigrants do so because they are paid a lower wage than Americans are willing to work for. If there are no jobs, then a work permit does very little.

Just like Obama to pass something small enough to try to get the Latino vote, but leave the states on the hook for decisions that will cost money. Wanna go to college? Be thankful you got to stay and pay out of state tuition. I don't need Patrick taxing the air to pay for a flood of illegals.
