25-year-old man dies after being stabbed near Dudley Station

“Words were exchanged on a bus, but the incident occurred after the parties had left the bus,” Pesaturo said.

Homicide detectives and prosecutors could be seen at the scene late this afternoon.

Steven Turner, 43, said he had tended to the victim.

“It was nasty. He was slashed up bad,” he said.

He said the victim was talking but he lost a lot of blood. The victim told him, “Give me some help. I’m getting weak. I’m losing it,” he said.

“This is sick. You can’t even walk the streets anymore,” Turner said.

Boston police said they were investigating and asked anyone with information to call homicide detectives or text or call the department’s anonymous tip numbers.

It was the fifth homicide in four days in Boston. Three women were fatally shot and one was wounded in a shooting Sunday. Also Sunday, a man was shot and three other men were wounded, in a separate incident.
