Father assails Allston slaying inquiry

No arrests made yet in shooting

The father of a Boston University graduate student who was shot and killed four months ago in Boston’s Allston neighborhood has criticized Boston police for not making an arrest in the slaying and expressed fear that the investigation was “losing momentum.”

Kanagala Sudhakar Rao, a bank manager in Bhubaneswar, India, said he has asked Indian diplomats in the United States to press the police to solve the April 19 slaying of his son Kanagala Seshadri Rao, a 24-year-old enrolled in a master’s program at the BU School of Management. No arrests have been made, though the father said he has passed clues on to the police.

He should do what the rest do here in Boston to punish the criminals "Street Justice" the Boston Cops are overpaid and under educated and have a very low rate of solving crimes. If this guy has money he can hire a street gang to find the guy and deal out some justice. IN Boston the cops are the criminals sucking the taxpayers dry while the Mayor and city council watch while filling their pockets with union money.

I feel very badly for this man who does not realize that the BPD has one of the lowest homicide clearance rates in the nation. They never solve most crimes, especially murders, and we as a city turn a blind eye to it because most murder victims are poor and/or minorities without a strong voice.

The crime is horrific and impacts on everyone in this town since the evil is still out there. no one is safe. let's get these dirtbags.
