Man accused of threatening two with hypodermic needle

MBTA Transit Police arrested a Hyde Park man Tuesday who threatened to stab two people with a hypodermic needle at the Forest Hills Station, officials said. Two men, ages 19 and 20, told transit officers that Jose R. Soler, 47, stuck his arm with the needle and drew blood, telling them to back up and claiming that he had the AIDS virus, according to authorities. The pair were trying to recoup money they had given Soler to buy alcohol for them, a transit police report said. The men said that Soler had reneged on the agreement and kept most of the money, according to the report.
