Man struck, killed on Franklin commuter rail line

Service on the Franklin commuter rail line was disrupted due to a person being struck by a train, MBTA officials said Thursday morning. A trespasser on the railroad was hit and killed by an outbound train between the Islington and Norwood Stations at about 9:50 a.m., said MBTA spokesman Joe Pesaturo. Rail passengers should expect delays in their commute, officials advised.
