Richard Tisei, the Republican candidate for the state’s Sixth Congressional District, wrote to the chairman of the Massachusetts Republican Party Wednesday discouraging party activists from adopting the national GOP platform.
Tisei, a moderate who is openly gay, said the national platform “espouses beliefs that exclude many in our party, including myself.”

Those of us who care about America, and usually support Republican candidates, can only hope that Rich Tisei prevails in preventing the Massachusetts Republican State Committee from adopting the radical, completely unrealistic national party platform, which was written by the most radical of all Republicans -- as the Democrats' platform was written by its far left.
Wow! How moderate! But you manage to suggest that Democrats don't "care about America" while trying to distance yourself and your candidate from the extremist RNC platform because it doesn't play well in Mass. It's offensive, but then I've come to expect very little from you in the way of civility over the years.
Mr Tisei, like Senator Brown, can play the moderate all he wants in order to get elected here, but when Speaker Boehner truly needs his vote to throw women and the middle class under the bus, he knows that he can count on Mr Tisei.
How very civil. How do you think women and the middle class will be doing when the economy collapses under another $5 trillion in debt in the next four years? Probably hiding under a stalled bus.
