Warren campaign enlists help of Patrick and Capuano

It was an audience that required little convincing.

Inside Boston University’s Alfred L. Morse Auditorium Saturday, Elizabeth Warren supporters — many of them college students — wore campaign T-shirts, waved signs, and chanted “Warren! Warren!” as the Senate candidate took to the stage for a get-fired-up speech.

Senator McCain may have some stature as a victim of war and his willingness to put his life on the line but his outlook on war and peace has much to be desired. He has not even totally gotten over that the Vietnam War is over. He mounted to the precipice with the upheaval in the Arab world and pushed for military intervention, forgetting the lessons of Iraq and Afghanistan. It is even more clear now that the fledgling governments are making headway in restoring order. If Scott Brown sides with Sen McCain he favors military fervor and rejects more reasoned approaches that save life and limb and have a better chance of forming workable relationships. Our history in this region is a very mixed bag and our policies now must reflect mutual objectives rather than do it my way or else. Sen Brown has accepted this endorsement, even sought it, so he must be in the same camp as espoused by Sen McCain. The people of the US are said to be war weary and even ignore the devastation these 2 wars have wrought. Sen Brown has also said he fully endorses the Romney/Ryan ticket another indication he is not savvy on the consequences of ill thought out military intervention or the power of appropriate diplomacy.

Maybe Patrick should take his own advice and stay on Beacon Hill to focus on Massachusetts for a change... The core challenge for Warren is that as a reluctant candidate, drafted into the race by the national democratic party machine, she projects a lack of real desire for the job and voters feel that. The fact she is the first to go negative is a clear indication that her handlers believe she is losing.

If Warren really wants to connect with voters she needs to do so without male surrogates.   Futhermore, she missed a huge opportunity last week to be on morning drive-time radio with Jim Braude and Marjorie Egan and instead ceded the airwaves to Scott Brown who continues to connect with people who likely disagree with him on the issues but find him affable, convivial and approachable, qualities Ms. Personality Deficit Disorder is severely lacking.  Why do the Democrats have such awful campaingers, candidates who just repeat nothingisms like "hammered" and 'rigged' and refuse to put themselves into the fray of give-and-take conversation?  The debates should be interesting.

Well, if you prefer someone who affably votes against your best interests...

Elizabeth Warren is right to focus on Brown's voting record. He voted against the Jobs Bill and the Volker rule as well as the Fair Pay Act and the ACA.He has voted anti-choice. Warren has chronicled, in her writings and speeches, the hardships faced by middle and low-income families while Brown has postured on it. She has also testified re it in Congress. Brown is a corporatist in the phony "job creation" stance of the Repub party-barn jacket not withstanding. Thw Western New England Polling Insitute shows Warren ahead of Brown by 6 points among Likely Voters. Her improved ads are a way to showcase her strengths.

Professor Warren doesn't have to worry about getting out the vote. We're getting it out alright to vote for Scott Brown. This liar and fraud will be back to Harvuud on November 7, full-time. Excuse me, I mean one course per semeter for $375,000 a year. She has so much worry for the little people; I just want to cry.

"so much worry for the little people" (sarcastically)

Have you considered that she wants to give that up (if that is what she earns) to work for the middle class and poor.

I believe that a Senator's salary is $175,000 (not sure).

Funny, when Brown gets an endorsement the Globe headline says "{Name} endorses Scott Brown"

When Warren gets endorsement, not to mention a blowout rally, "Globe headline is Warren Campaign Enlists Help."

Who has bought off the Globe?

Again the Brown campaign manages to the inserted into an article, " “these are more negative attacks from Elizabeth Warren”. Scott and his campaign have been calling Elizabeth's comments negative ever since she started talking about Scott's votes. That is something he wants to keep quiet as he votes with corporations and big oil and supports the Republican platform 90% of the time.
