Dorchester residents say they are fed up with they say is rampant prostitution in their neighborhood. City Counselor Frank Baker, who represents Dorchester, organized a meeting to discuss the problem after receiving complaints from constituents from Savin Hill to Ashmont and after witnessing it first-hand. The Police Department pledge to tackle the problem from all angles, but acknowledged that it is difficult to contain. BPD Superintendent William Evans said police districts will need to work together.
