Kept at bay for months in the US Senate race by a pact curbing outside advertising, Karl Rove’s political group, Crossroads GPS, has begun blasting voters with “robocalls” targeting Elizabeth Warren.
One call criticizes Warren’s work leading a panel that monitored the federal bank bailout, erroneously suggesting she ran the bailout, and another claims that her support for President Obama’s health law could limit Medicare availability, even though the law does not propose doing so.

So now these ads will require an IQ test for the voting public. Specifically their Inquiry Quotient. Will they let what each of these groups promulgate stand or put the statements in context as flat out falsehoods or incongruent facts. Maybe the candidate was at the some scene but their role can be entirely mischaracterized. What does their career tell you about their legislative focus? Who do they walk with politically? Workers, Wall St speculators, investors, women, educators, firemen, police, taxpayers, selected government officials and representatives, people you buy your everyday goods from, or the proverbial everyday citizen? What is their world view on war and peace? Will the federal judges they endorse understand a modern different society than the one that existed at the time of the original Constitution? The latter stands out in particular since it will set the tone of the country for a generation. Will these justices understand that freedom means having as many choices as possible and that each citizen must feel safe as possible in their day to day life? It is unlikely a mailed flyer or robo call presents a full picture or can answer these questions accurately. In reality it takes work to be a citizen voter. We decided against a royal decider long ago. Sen Brown's campaign so far has concentrated on false character assasination. He should not be able to be reelected on such dangerous nonsense. It is time for both candidates to concentrate on questions that are relevant to our daily lives. We have a debate Monday night, an opportunity to maybe get more expanded statements on what these candidates believe and what legislative directions they favor. Once on the record it must be matched by citizen inquiry into their experience and actions. Then most of all go vote on November 6th. It is the least we can do for keeping this a strong livable proud nation.
"Character assassination"? Warren's claims have been refuted by accurate information; thus removing any "character" to assassinate.
Wrong, aperture. You couldn't be more wrong.
Although some members of Warren's family believe they have American Indian ancestors, there is no proof of that. Where you go wrong is your false logic.
A lesson in logic: Lack of proof does not mean the opposite. No proof that UFO's exist doesn't prove that they don't.
The only logical and intelligent conclusion that can be drawn about Warren's Indian ancestry is that we don't know. You can suspect whatever you want. You can have your own opinion. But nothing has been "refuted" so if you say it has, you're lying.
Way to go Scotty. Crawl in bed with a traitor who outed an undercover CIA agent for political gain. Shows a lot about Scotty's character
This is the closest, yet, to a globe advertisement for the Warren campaign--one can only HOPE that it's not a precursor of things to come. As for "disingenuiness", it's hard to beat Warren's claims or the globe's reporting of them. Lower reimbursement to providers means no decrease in those products to seniors? Since when? Even the CBO judged O'care as a budget buster when they were finally given accurate figures. Warren doesn't need robocalls; the globe is doing the work for her.
Question: How do you know Scott Brown's campaign is in trouble?
Answer: He is getting assistance from people who helped George W. Bush steal two elections!
If Karl Rove is aganst Warren, I'm for her.

FACT CHECKERS WASHINGTON POST The Boston Herald reported in April that Warren had listed herself as a minority in the American Association of Law Schools directory and that Harvard Law School had touted her supposed lineage when the program faced doubts about faculty diversity. Critics pounced on the news, suggesting Warren had feigned Native American ancestry to enhance her teaching prospects. The Democratic candidate stumbled early on in reacting to this controversy. She cited “high cheek bones” as proof of her ancestry and said she listed herself as a minority in the professional listings merely to connect with “people like me,” noting that it was “not a particularly good use for the directory because it never happened.” The American Association of Law Schools directory doesn’t specify which professors are Native American, but instead clumps all the “minority law teachers” together in a distinct section. As such, it’s no surprise that Warren didn’t connect with American Indians through the listing — they wouldn’t have known she was one of them. Warren first listed herself as a minority in the Association of American Law Schools Directory of Faculty in 1986, the year before she joined the faculty of the University of Pennsylvania Law School. She continued to list herself as a minority until 1995, the year she accepted a tenured position at Harvard Law School........ The federal Equal Employment Opportunity Commission defines “American Indian or Alaska Native” employees as those “having origins in any of the original peoples of North and South America (including Central America), and who maintain cultural identification through tribal affiliation or community recognition.” A Globe article confirmed that Harvard relied on this standard for its 1992-1993 and 1995-1996 federal affirmative-action reports, for which the school listed a Native American woman -- widely believed to be Warren. http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/fact-checker/post/everything-you-need-to-know-about-the-controversy-over-elizabeth-warrens-claimed-native-american-heritage/2012/09/27/d0b7f568-08a5-11e2-a10c-fa5a255a9258_blog.html?hpid=z3
Does anybody pay any attention to robocalls? Whether it's Rachel, a charity, a poll, or whatever, as soon as I realize it's a robocall I hang up.
I don't listen to calls from robo-dialers either. If no one responds to my "hello" within 1 second, I hang up.
Romney is making the calls?
