BRATTLEBORO, Vt. — Last winter’s mild weather coupled with the early spring green-up are expected to lead to a strong deer hunting season this fall in Vermont. Deer biologist Adam Murkowski told the Brattleboro Reformer that population growth is expected throughout the state this year thanks to increased over-winter survival and optimal fawning conditions.
