Authorities are searching for a Massachusetts man who went missing Monday evening in Bash Bish Falls State Park in the Taconic Mountains on the Massachusetts-New York border, State Police said. Kyle Pember, 28, of Northborough was reported missing after he did not return from a hike on the mountain. He was last seen by a family member on a trail in the park. Pember is described as being 5 feet 10 inches with a slim build, short dark brown hair, and a narrow face. He was last seen wearing a blue-checkered hooded sweatshirt, jeans, and a backpack. Bash Bish Falls is partially located in the southwestern Massachusetts town of Mount Washington. The Massachusetts State Police have deployed about three dozen personnel to assist New York authorities with the search. Anyone with information on Pember’s disappearance is urged to call State Police in Lee at 413-243-0600.
