Firefighters rescued 13 people who were stuck in an elevator at the Liberty Hotel Wednesday night in Beacon Hill, said the Boston Fire Department. At about 8:40 p.m., the elevator became stuck near the third floor, said Steve MacDonald, a Fire Department spokesman. The occupants were trapped for 15 to 20 minutes, and one person was checked out by Emergency Medical Services for anxiety, MacDonald said. No injuries were reported.
