Senator Scott Brown will donate $10,000 of campaign funds to the Meningitis Foundation of America, money his campaign received from the owners and executives of the pharmacy linked to the national meningitis outbreak that has sickened at least 170 people and killed 14.
The co-owner of the New England Compounding Center, Gregory Conigliaro, held a fund-raiser in September with his wife at their Southborough home, Brown’s campaign confirmed. The company’s injectable steroids have been traced to the outbreak. But the firm was not publicly linked to the problem until Oct. 4, after the fund-raiser was held.

Brown is already IN the Senate, so how is it possible that "a Brown victory could put Republicans in control of the Senate?" Ms. Warren can complain all she wants about Sen. Brown's votes, but the reality is that if the voters truly want bi-partisanship in Congress, Sen. Brown is FAR likelier to cross the aisle than she. Talk about being in lock step with your party, Ms. Warren epitomizes it.
Yes you are correct but the majority of people in Massachusetts like Ms. Warren's political party's values over that of Senator Brown's. Even if he votes 50% of the time in a bipartisan manner that is still too much in the minds of many. It seems to me that Senator Brown talks a lot about being Independent .... if he is so independent why doesn't he change his party affiliation? Oh yeah it must be the money that is pouring in from Republican interests around the country.
Can you give us the specific figures?
A Democratic leaning poll taker says it all. The electorate will not vote for a boxchecking fraud.
Yeah, Sure she does.
My last remark oddly did post after the gobbledygook. My remark was about the gobbledy.
Anyway, let's hope this posts. I think that polls tend to influence how people will vote.
If voters think their vote will be lost on a loser, they will then vote for the candidate they think will be the winner according to the polls. I say to the media stop posting polls.
We sure are concerned re possible Repub majority and the disaster it would be for most of us.
The Boston Globe is obsessed with publishing these off brand polls to influence the electorate to jump on the Warren bandwagon. A newspaper should have a little bit of credibility but it's plain to see that the Boston Globe has no shame and takes it's readership for granted. This is an attitude that is paramount when people decide what newspaper to buy. That is why the Boston Globe is fighting to stay in business.
