Missing Methuen boy found in Lawrence

Police located a 12-year-old boy late Sunday who had been reported missing on Friday after walking away from his foster home on Glen Avenue in Methuen, according to Detective Lieutenant James Jajuga Jr. Joseph Christopulos III stopped by a friend’s house in Lawrence, Jajuga said, and the friend’s parent recognized him from a Methuen police Facebook post about his disappearance. Christopulos, uninjured, was picked up by police at around 9:45 p.m., Jajuga said. The youth had left his foster home on his bicycle and has been staying “at various unknown locations in Lawrence.”
