Senator Scott Brown has a new piece of evidence to bolster his argument that he is more than willing to cross party lines in the Senate.
Brown, a Republican who is locked in a tough reelection battle with Democrat Elizabeth Warren, is pointing to an analysis that found that, when the parties have split in the Senate, he has voted with Democrats 53 percent of the time since January 2011.

Only problem is when he was voting with his party he was supporting the most regressive bills imaginable. Against women's rights. Against relieving the burden of the unemployed. Against supporting health care reform. For tax subsidies and polluting the environment. Sorry no cigar on any progressive, i.e. expansion of personal and economic freedom.
When the Warren campaign cites these votes attempting to paint the opposition as being 'anti-women' or 'anti-abortion' or.....etc.; It makes Ms. Warren appear to be remarkably naïve and simplistic. These are complex pieces of legislation that have consequences reaching far beyond the specific issues that Ms. Warren would like women to focus on. For example, if Ms. Warren were a Senator in the next Congress would she vote in support of a piece of legislation that 'supported woman's rights' but was also bundled with increased subsidies for oils companies and expanded drilling in Alaska?
So true Stormin' ! Even the Boston Globe editorial board said the 'Paycheck Fairness Act' was a bad idea ...

Brown's other 'anti-women' offense? Not voting for Kagan ... because she didn't actually have court experience? Sounds like he was making the right decision for all his male and female constituents, putting capabilities before politics.
Regarding Equal Pay - I just got a flyer in the mail from Elizabeth Warren.
It states: Elizabeth Warren Supports equal pay for equal work. It also states that Scott Brown voted against the 'Paycheck Fairness Act'. Note: it does NOT say if Warren supports / would have voted for the 'Paycheck Fairness Act' ( which the Boston Globe said was a bad solution). So, she is attacking Brown without stating clearly what her position is. That's some fancy Lawyerin' , mass license or not!
