It was a run-of-the-mill antiwar gathering. The speakers: former city councilor Felix D. Arroyo, Boston University professor Howard Zinn, and Gold Star mother Cindy Sheehan. The location: A congregational church in Jamaica Plain.
But the Boston Police Department took careful notes in advance of the gathering, filing an “intelligence report” in March 2007 that labeled the event a “criminal act” involving “extremists.”

I thought the BPD disbanded the Red Squad years ago! Silly me.
The BPD SHOULD watch them! Anti-war groups got plenty of innocent people killed in the 60's, both accidentally and on-purpose!!!!!!!!!!
User, How many people did our military kill in wars in the 60's?
The pairing of the terms "anarchy" and "socialism" indicates an improper bias in the Boston police department towards certain protest groups. Anarchism may arouse a legitimate concern for public security whereas "socialism" becomes an epithet used by political conservatives as a synonim for "communism"
This is surprising to many activitists, just imagine if you chose to protest one of our many wars and you happen to also be Arab American. McCarthy is still alive and well, well funded...
It's not anti-war protesters they're watching. It's anti personal hygiene protesters. You know, those against bathing, soap, cleanliness in general.

The Boston Police have pulled many boneheaded things over the years, but this is a new low. On the other hand, I see that Warren has moved 9 points about of Brown in one of the latest polls. The public is finally coming to the realization that Scott Brown is a dolt and a lightweight. And the comments below from right wingers indicates that this stupidity extends to his supporters as well, even more so. Go Liz

Hey Galway, hitting the button twice just proves you're twice as wrong.
