Scott Brown launches dark new ad about Elizabeth Warren’s work on coal miners’ case

Senator Scott Brown has released a dark new ad highlighting Elizabeth Warren’s work representing LTV Steel in a case involving health care for retired coal workers and their families.

“The coal company had moved on, but they didn’t just leave buildings behind. LTV Steel went to court to avoid paying health benefits it had promised to retired coal miners,” the narrator says amid black-and-white images of a gutted warehouse, a discarded work boot, and grainy footage of Warren.

Scott is getting desparate...

Scott Brown is using the nuances and complexities of bankruptcy law to smear Elizabeth Warren. He has already been called out on his statement that Warren used "paid actors" to appear in her ad explaining her role in the Traveler's asbestos case. Somehow he likes setting himself up for another hit on his reputation by again making a false claim. Hopefully he employed real people in his ad or else he will be in even more hot water when the details are explained. He seems to be teeing up this issue for the last debate. Apparently he has given up defending his voting record since that did not get anywhere and he hardly tried. He went for Rovian politics instead.

It appears that Scott's legal eductaion was somewhat lacking.  He did OK in the Perfunctory Paper Passing so he could close Real Estate Loans.  But apparently didn't sign up fpr Corporate Practice or Bankruptcy or he might understand how these more complex cases work.

So sad Scott Brown can only come up with smear ads against Warren to support his reelection to the Senate. There is NOTHING on his Congressional record to brag about. When all you can bring to the table is a smear campaign against your opponent, then it's time for you to go. These days the minute a Scott Brown ad comes on the radio or TV, I switch the channel. It's the same attack over and over again.
