Woman tries to clear up brother’s claim

A nurse originally from West Springfield is trying to set the record straight after her brother humiliated her with an embarrassing claim before the two were recently arrested. Amanda Larrivee’s attorney told The Republican that charges against his client have been dropped since she and her brother were arrested Sunday. Police said they tried to steal a TV from the women’s room in a Springfield bar. A police press release said Robert Larrivee initially claimed they were having sex to explain why he was in the women’s room, before police learned they were related. But Amanda Larrivee said her brother followed her because he was angry at her and was just fiddling with the TV when police confronted them and he made the comment. Larrivee, of Florida, said she just wants to clear things up.
