An Attleboro man is facing charges that he was driving negligently when he killed a man and ­injured a young girl who were crossing a Whitman street last month, the Plymouth district attorney’s office said Friday.

Whitman police are seeking a complaint charging Richard C. Brown, 46, with negligent motor vehicle homicide, operating to endanger, speeding, and failure to yield to a pedestrian, said the office of Plymouth District Attorney Timothy J. Cruz.
