2 people uninjured in airport crash


A small plane crashed at Mansfield Municipal Airport Sunday, but the two people aboard were not injured, according to State Police. The Mansfield Fire Department worked to free the plane and its occupants — the pilot and a passenger — from the airport’s tree line, State Police officials said. The Massachusetts Aeronautics Commission will lead the investigation into the crash’s cause, State Police said.
