A new $6.7 million health care center has opened in Rhode Island for those struggling to find affordable health care. Governor Lincoln Chafee and members of the state’s congressional delegation joined in cutting the ribbon Monday at the new Blackstone Valley Community Health Center in Pawtucket. The 32,000-square-foot facility is intended to give patients access to more doctors and better care in a single location. The three-story clinic has space for women’s health care services, a dental office, vision care, and mental health services.
