After a very active shark season and the state’s first great white attack since 1936, the Cape and Islands Harbormasters Association hosted a discussion Wednesday to evaluate the summer’s events and plan for next year. The “Regional White Shark Discussion” was held at the Orleans Town Hall. Officials from across the Cape and Islands discussed public safety and liability regarding sharks and shared their local responses and policies.
