The fourth and final debate between Senator Scott Brown and Elizabeth Warren is scheduled to take place on Tuesday at 7 p.m. in Boston, although Hurricane Sandy’s whipping winds and soaking rains could force a postponement.
The debate’s organizers, a consortium of Boston media outlets that includes the Globe, are monitoring the storm, but have made no decision about rescheduling.
The hour-long debate, with CNN’s John King moderating, is scheduled to take place at the WGBH studios in Brighton.
It is scheduled to be broadcast live on WGBH-TV (Channel 2), WCVB-TV (Channel 5), NECN, WHDH-TV (Channel 7), WBUR-FM (90.9), WGBH-FM (89.7), and Bloomberg Radio, and will be live-streamed on Boston.com.
The debate represents what could be the last chance for Warren, a Democrat, and Brown, a Republican, to speak directly to voters, one week before polls open in the nation’s most hotly contested and most costly Senate race.
