Two injured in 2-alarm house fire

Two residents were injured in a two-alarm house fire in Kingston Tuesday morning that caused $250,000 in damage, the Kingston Fire Department said. Around 5 a.m., firefighters found the two-story home on Country Way “well involved with fire,” Fire Chief Robert T. Heath said. The Duxbury, Pembroke, and Halifax fire departments also responded to the blaze, which was knocked down in about an hour. Both occupants of the home were taken to a local hospital for treatment. Their conditions were not available. The cause of the fire is unknown.
