Power outages in Massachusetts are down to the hundreds, four days after hundreds of thousands of customers were thrown into the dark by Hurricane Sandy. Power was restored to all but about 690 National Grid customers, mostly residents in remote areas or on smaller streets, officials said this morning. “This stage is usually described as picking up the onesies and twosies,” said Deborah Drew, National Grid spokeswoman.
