Police search for girl, 15, missing since Oct. 25

Authorities in Maine are looking for a 15-year-old Skowhegan girl who has been missing since late October. Police told the Morning Sentinel that Samantha Quimby was last seen at her mother’s home Oct. 25, just hours after police tracked her down after she allegedly ran away from a foster home. Police said they are concerned because the girl is under a protection-from-abuse order issued last week following a request from the Department of Health and Human Services. The order names a relative who is not supposed to have contact with her.
