A Lowell man is facing charges that he stole more than $37,000 from parking kiosks in the city while he worked as a technician for a private company that maintained the ­machines and collected the money, authorities said.

A Middlesex County grand jury indicted Richard Neveu, 51, Wednesday on charges of larceny over $250 and breaking and entering into a depository, District Attorney Gerard T. Leone Jr.’s office said in a statement.
