A woman pulled to safety a 15-year-old girl whose apartment was on fire Thursday night, the Natick Fire Department said .

When firefighters arrived at a Franklin Street apartment building around 6:45 p.m., heavy fire was seen coming from the second-floor apartment and onto the wooden fire escape, said Fire Chief James Sheridan.
