A Dorchester man who was recently released from a three-year prison sentence because of the state drug lab scandal, was arraigned Tuesday on a new drug distribution case, the office of Suffolk District Attorney Daniel F. Conley said. Torrie Haynes, 30, was charged with distribution of a Class B substance as a subsequent offense and resisting arrest, among other charges, and was held without bail, Conley’s office said in a statement. Haynes had been convicted of drug distribution offences five different times, the statement said. In the new incident, Haynes allegedly assaulted officers after they tried to stop him from swallowing drugs he was caught with on Saturday, Conley’s office said.
