Lawrence police are looking for those responsible for killing eight cats over the past two weeks, possibly by fracturing their skulls.

All of the dead cats were found in the northern part of Lawrence, near Greenwood and Lowell streets, said Police Chief John J. Romero. There were no visible marks, mutilation, or blood on any of them.
