The US Supreme Court has denied a request from former Boston City Councilor Chuck Turner to review his federal corruption conviction. The high court issued the denial on Tuesday, according to a docket entry in the case. Turner, 72, had filed a petition with the court last month seeking review of a lower appeals court ruling upholding his 2010 conviction. He is currently serving a three-year prison sentence in West Virginia and is scheduled for release in November 2013.
