UNH increases security after attack

University of New Hampshire police said they are stepping up patrols after a student said two men attacked him and tried to steal his backpack. UNH police said the student reported that he was attacked from behind at about 9:15 p.m. Wednesday in a parking lot by two men who threw him to the ground and tried to take the backpack. The man suffered minor injuries and did not require medical treatment. (AP)
