Just a week after Democrats ran the table in statewide federal elections and gained seats in the state House of Representatives, party leaders unanimously reelected John Walsh as the chairman of the state Democratic Party for another four years.

“I am humbled by the show of support and want to thank all the members of the State Committee. If there ever was an election result that is truly shared equally by the candidate and the voters, it is this one tonight,” Walsh said in a statement.
