Man indicted in high-speed chase that killed one

A Brockton man was indicted by a grand jury on second-degree murder, manslaughter, and numerous other charges Friday after he fled from police and crashed into heavy traffic in October, killing a woman, said the Plymouth district attorney’s office. Antwoin Moore, 28, led police on a high-speed chase on Oct. 12 and barreled into a car driven by Maryanne Kotsiopoulos, 49, at the intersection of Quincy and Centre streets in Brockton, the DA’s office said. Kotsiopoulos died from her injuries. Moore faces life in prison with parole eligibility after 15 years, said Bridget Norton Middleton, a spokeswoman for the district attorney’s office.
