A baby girl was born early Saturday morning in a car parked alongside Route 9, Natick police said in a post on the department’s Facebook page. Around 3 a.m. Saturday, Officer Christopher Showstead came upon a young couple in a stopped car on Route 9. The woman inside was in advanced labor, police said, and it was apparent that she would deliver the child before she could reach a hospital. The baby girl was born just before an ambulance arrived.
