Women out after Arlington Cemetery photo

Image created furor on Facebook

Two women who worked for a Cape Cod nonprofit are no longer with the company after posting a picture online that showed one of them making an obscene gesture at Arlington National Cemetery, according to the organization.

Lindsey Stone of Plymouth and a co-worker at Living Independently Forever Inc. were placed on unpaid leave Tuesday when the photo surfaced on Facebook. The nonprofit provides independent living situations for adults with disabilities.

A PC world gone mad. Lets ruin someone's life over a bad decision. Great work

Nothing PC here. They were at their job, technically, and did a very irresponsible thing. When will people learn to be careful what they post on Facebook.

I'd make every high school kid read this story. It's important that people be more responsible with social media. Once you post this stuff or somebody else puts it up you are judged by the world.
