Nov. 4, 2011: Allie Loftis, 13, runs away from her home in Wayland, taking a Peter Pan bus to New York City. Surveillance cameras spot her at the Port Authority Bus Terminal in New York City.
Nov. 7: Allie’s father, Tony Loftis, heads to New York to search for her.
Nov. 8: The “Find Allie Loftis” Facebook page is launched. Thousands of people “like” the page, spreading the word. Tony tweets about Allie.
Nov. 12: Huffington Post story on Allie appears.
Nov. 14: The New York Daily News writes about Allie’s disappearance. Tony does interviews on four New York television stations.
Nov. 16: Tony does a live interview on WPIX-TV in New York. A tipster recognizes Allie and calls police, who find her in Jersey City, N.J.
