During a “What If Sandy Happened Here?” town hall-style forum at Faneuil Hall, US Representative Edward Markey warned about the dangers facing Greater Boston in years ahead if a super storm like Hurricane Sandy strikes at high tide. “We have to put in place measures that will protect us,” he said. Mindy Lubber, a former regional EPA administrator, said the debate must move from the political arena, adding: “We can’t keep just talking to our friends who agree with us.”
