A convicted rapist was ­arrested Tuesday and charged with the sexual assault of a ­Beacon Hill resident earlier this month, prosecutors said.

Anthony Williams, 45, was charged with aggravated rape, kidnapping, and other related offenses in connection with the Nov. 10 assault, in which he ­allegedly brandished a weapon before sexually assaulting a woman in her apartment in the middle of the night.
