The strength of their family had helped them through tough times, financially and otherwise, but now she will have to do her best to raise the children alone. “Nothing can replace the void that we are experiencing with the loss of my husband, but I strive to maintain some type of normalcy in my children’s lives,” she wrote in a letter to Globe Santa. “They miss their father so very much and we all continue to carry him in our hearts.”
