Marcus Hurd, the paralyzed man who is the lone survivor of the 2010 attack in Mattapan that killed four people, is testifying today in the Suffolk Superior Court retrial of the alleged shooter, Dwayne Moore. Hurd provided a detailed account of the Sept. 28, 2010 attack, saying he was swept up in the drug-related robbery when he went to a house on Sutton Street to buy a bag of marijuana from victim Simba Martin.
