Small fire is doused at Logan’s Terminal C

A small fire at the JetBlue Airways ticket counter in Terminal C at Logan International Airport has been extinguished, airport officials said.

Operations at the airport are “getting back to normal,” the airport said in an official tweet.

JetBlue is not anticipating any delays due to the small fire, said spokeswoman Tamara Young. All the customers evacuated from that area were moving back to security lines, she said.

Young did not elaborate on the cause of the fire, but said the airport’s fire department showed up and quickly handled the situation.

The terminal also serves Cape Air and United Airlines.
