Fall River man held without bail in killing

A Fall River man who prosecutors say shot a woman in the head, searched through her pockets, and then left her slumped behind the wheel of her still-running car has been ordered held without bail. Brandyn LePage faces a murder charge in connection with the Sept. 29 death of Aja Pascual, in what prosecutors say was a drug deal gone awry. The Herald News reported that a judge ordered the 20-year-old LePage held Thursday, pending his appearance in Superior Court. Prosecutors say LePage intended to buy cocaine from Pascual, a known dealer.
