A rest area on Interstate 91 has been dedicated to a Connecticut state trooper killed in the line of duty in 2010. A ceremony was held Friday morning to name the rest area and weigh station in honor of Trooper Kenneth Hall. Hall was killed Sept. 2, 2010, when a truck slammed into his parked cruiser in the right shoulder of Interstate 91 in Enfield. The driver of the rented truck was convicted of manslaughter and sentenced to 11 years in prison.
