State Police working a detail outside Gillette Stadium after Monday night’s New England Patriots game arrested a man for allegedly driving drunk, striking a pedestrian with his car, and fleeing the scene.

A motorist informed Trooper Michael Isom at 1 a.m. that there was an accident near his post on Route 1, State Police said in a statement. Isom drove north and saw a man lying on the road, State Police said.
