School Superintendent John Tuffy says he is not sure what caused half a dozen ­Silver Lake ­Regional Middle School students to be taken to area hospitals Wednesday morning.

“This morning was a little crazy,” said Tuffy, superintendent of the Silver Lake Regional school district.
