Brown leaves Senate door ajar

NORTH ANDOVER — You would have thought it were a campaign event: Senator Scott Brown, and his wife, Gail Huff, singing along with their daughter, Ayla, as she led a rendition of “Jingle Bells” for the crowd at a trees-for-troops Christmas party.

Brown was in his trademark barn jacket, his green pickup truck parked yards away at Smolak Farms, as person after person came up to him and said they were political supporters.

Let's hope Scott Brown does indeed sign the Senate oath again. Or at the least takes over Deval Patrick's office. He's a good, honest man. By the way, what is Elizabeth Warren's plan to pay off her $400,000 campaign overrun? Great start, eh? Just the kind of fiscal responsibility we need in the senate!

apparently Moshmont is not only confused about Scott Brown's fitness as a politician, but also hasnt bothered to read about Warren's "plan" which is to raise money from supporters. For the country's most expensive Senate campaign of this cycle, the "overrun" is small. of course, Moshmont is apparently one of those for whom Warren will never be able to do anything right. Hey, Moshmont, she hasnt even been sworn in yet AND this story is about your loser candidate and how he cant deal with a career change ...

funny how a Tea Party favorite just cant let go ... he ran a lousy, racist campaign and attempted to wear sheep's clothing of an "independent" reminiscent of Mittens when he ran to the left of Ted Kennedy. Scott is so "probusiness"? let's see if he can do anything other than cling to the business of being a right wing politician. In the meantime, the howls of the banks' lobbyists about Warren on the Banking Committee tell you all you need to know about whether the Commonwealth now has a proconsumer Senator. Yeah, you would have thought it were a campaign event for Scott because it WAS.

Brown did not represent Massachusetts and was thrown out of office on his ear without even serving one term.  He must be as lousy a lawyer as he was a interim senator, because he doesn't want to wean himself from that public paycheck.  Or, maybe he is just plain stupid.

Hey Scott when you recycle your remarks it's a good opportunity for you to clean up your grammar:"... victory and defeat is temporary." No, they are temporary.

Speaking of grammar...I heard our Senator's historic farewell address in which he used the phrase "I was just ascared" ....This man should never be a major office holder representing MA.

He looks good but that's about it - he would never stand up to McConnel and he loves the filibuster.  As has been said over the last few days - Bill Weld would be better, and I think he should run as an independent to mess with both parties if need be, but especially McConnel!

and if you run again will you once again vote for any UN proposals that are presented to the Senate to hand over this countries rights to the UN to achieve power and control over this country???????.

Guess we have to wait six years so prove to the MASS democrats that Warren was the wrong choice. She is a Harvard elitist and will never again be seen with the 'common folk' here in MA. Warren only got in not because of her ability but she is a Democrat who follows the party line and it was a presidential election year. You can say what you want about Brown but he was his own man and a member of the 'pack' following blindly down the trail.

oops that should read and not a member of the pack.....
