Police Department faces misconduct allegation

The Police Department is facing allegations of misconduct that could result in a State Police investigation. The St. Johnsbury Select Board voted 3 to 2 recently to ask State Police Commander Tom L’Esperance to consider investigating the department. It followed a complaint by resident Brian Christman that police filed an inaccurate report about him. The Caledonian-Record reported that Christman said his action is related to a 2011 disorderly conduct complaint against him.
