A 24-year-old Dorchester woman has been ordered held on $500,000 bail on charges of running over two pedestrians while driving drunk early Saturday, authorities said. One victim, a 30-year-old Dorchester man, died at Brigham and Women’s Hospital Monday afternoon, said Jake Wark, spokesman for Suffolk District Attorney Daniel F. Conley. Hours earlier, Champree Dinkins pleaded not guilty at her arraignment in Dorchester District Court to charges of operating under the influence, leaving the scene of an accident causing injury, and two counts of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon. The other victim, a 35-year-old woman, is expected to recover. “The circumstances remain under investigation, including whether this was a deliberate act,” Wark said.
