Sandy Hook victims remembered in Globe Santa donations

Globe Santa and his helpers have had many, many touching moments each Christmas as they made their way through opening, reading, and processing the requests from families needing his help in providing Christmas gifts for their children.

But they also have had many pleasant moments reading the names and notes that have accompanied contributions being made to the Globe Santa Fund.

They were donations made in memory of the 20 children and six adults killed by the gunman who invaded Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Conn.
